VGA ports i can do anything but games.
When the game loads it displays this message on the lcd tv. (mode not supported)

I bought a new 40 inches Samsung LCD TV 2 months ago. Great TV and really love it. However, I have problems with the component input. My DVD player was initially connected to Component 1 on my TV. It worked fine for the 1st month. Then after the 1st month, while I was watching a DVD in the DVD player, I had a black screen that indicated “NO SIGNAL” for 1-2 seconds and then image came back and then lost again. At first, it was only once or twice then became very frequent. So I switched the connection to component 2 on my TV. It worked fine for about 2 wks, but now it says “no signal” entirely with the DVD player on. My DVD player is fine because I tried it on another TV. So now I dont know if it’s the component cable or my NEW TV….very frustrated!!! Can anybody help me on this??? Thank you.

i have my ps3 hooked up to a sharp 65dr650 with an hdmi cable and it can go up to 1080i but i have it set to 720p. all the ps3 manuals say to not use it with an rptv that isnt lcd and i dont want my tv to die on me so is it safe to use my ps3 with this tv
I have Cox digital cable and an HD DVR. While watching HD channels I’ve noticed some pixelation. You can notice pixels- as if there aren’t enough pixels to fill the screen. Although the picture still looks HD, the pixelation is still annoying, and I can’t help but feel that it’s supposed to look better(crisper). I have a 32 inch Samsung LCD HDTV. I also have an Xbox 360 and the picture looks very crisp on it with no pixelation whatsoever- so I know it’s not my TV. I was hoping that HD content would look the same as my Xbox on my TV. I called Cox and they sent out a technician. The tech checked the signal and said that the signal is fine. But he installed a signal booster anyway to see if it would improve the pixelation-it didn’t. He said that the pixelation I’m noticing could be because of the cable cord coming from the wall, because it is somewhat old, and that old cable cords can affect the picture quality. Is anyone else having the same problem and does anyone know if replacing the cable cord could solve the problem? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can solve this problem? Or is HD content supposed to have noticeable pixelation(when looking closely)? Thank you in advance.
