What aspect ratio should I go with when buying a new LCD monitor for my desktop computer. I have the EVGA GeForce 9600 GT 512MB Superclocked video card that supports 2560×1600 max resolution. Should I get a widescreen lcd monitor? Opinions? Brands? Trying not to spend over $300. Oh and another question, why are lcd monitors 16:10 aspect ratio when my LCD tv is 16:9?
