i have a 32 inch flat lcd tv by westinghouse model number SK-32H540S.
it is about a year old but the screen has started to turn purple and staticky at random times. does anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it?
I have a dvd player and the cable running through it, and the ringing noise is there no matter what is playing. The noise is coming from the tv itself; any ideas on how to fix this or what is happening?
I have a JVC 46″projection tv and it recently started showing a distorted picture. The tv is only three yrs old. I had a repair guy come out and diagnoise the problem. The repair man said the convergence went out on the tv and it will cost 250.00 dollars to repair. My question is do you think it is worth fixing or should i just get a new LCd tv or something? What would you do?
I want a new tv, witch one is better quality and on average witch is a better buy.

Im looking to upgrade from a HD trinitron CRT tv to 50″ LCD TV. I dont want to spend a lot of money because i know that by next year something much better will be out at a better price (i.e. LED tv for cheap).
Now i have been debating with my family between the Samsung 52″ 7 series (A750) and the Samsung 52″ 5 series (A550). Other than design, the 7 series has a 120Hz refresh rate which is a big win for the 7 series but i have heard that it is not work that great with 24p movies. I have personally used a 40″ A550 for a while and i was extremely happy. Now if i were to get the A550 for $1500 and the A750 for $2500 which one should i go for? i also don’t watch a lot of sports, mostly movies.
I have bought a vga cable ( 14 Pins) to connect my laptop to lcd. but 14 pins wire is not support to my laptop. i didn’t get 15 pins wire. what can i do

I am reading the new laser tv’s consume less than 200 watts, which would be half of some other 65” LCD TVs. 65” plasma TVs can consume more than 500 watts. So what does that mean in savings exactly? Over lets say a year? Tryin to convince my dad to get a laser and not a lcd or plasma.
